Big Brunch for Mind – Saturday 30th March

Please join us as we host a BIG BRUNCH event in aid of the charity Mind 

SATURDAY 30th March 

11am at St John's Church 

On the menu - Delicious pancakes, juice and hot drinks

Suggested donation of £5 per person ( children eat for free)  plus there will be a raffle on the day.

NexGen Kids Club – next date Sat 28th September

NexGen, a free kids club for 7 to 11 year olds has now started at St John’s!

The club will run from 6pm - 8pm on the last Saturday of each month, next club is on Saturday 28th September.

Club evenings will involve structured activities, games, crafts and more for the kids to enjoy, have fun and make new friends.

There will be a tuck shop for the children, and tea and coffee for parents if they choose to stay while the club is running.

If you would like more information or would like to register your child, please feel free to talk to Kate or Keith on Sundays or contact Church Administrator Nikki.

Registration forms and a sign up list are also available at both churches on Sundays.

MEN UNITED – BIG BREAKFAST

Men United is a new men's group formed to allow our men to get to know one another and have some blokey time!

There will be various events organised throughout the year.

Christingle Services on Sat 24th December

We will be holding 3 Christingle Services on Christmas Eve.

Always a family favourite, exploring the message of Christmas through the Christingle and raising money for the Children’s Society.
Please join us as we celebrate God’s wonderful love for each and every one of us.
This year we will be holding services at both St Mary’s & St John’s.

Community Christmas Carol Walk 2024

Please join us for carol singing and refreshments on our Community Christmas Carol Walk.

We will be meeting at St John's at 10am on Saturday 14th of December, then taking a gentle walk down to the Langdon Nature Discovery Visitor Centre where we will be singing a selection of traditional and well-loved Carols.

If you are driving to the Visitor Centre we should be there at around 10.30am.  Centre SAT NAV code is SS16 6EB

On our return to St John’s there will be a chance to warm up with a hot drink and mince pies.
A great event for family & friends, perfect for getting you into the Christmas spirit!
Please dress up warm (Christmas jumpers and hats definitely encouraged)
