Ash Wednesday service

All welcome to our Ash Wednesday service on 14th February, 8pm at St Mary’s Church.
Ash Wednesday marks the start of the season of Lent, a time for reflecting on our lives and seeking God. The service will include Holy Communion, and the opportunity to receive the ‘imposition of ashes’ - receiving the sign of the cross on your forehead with ashes, as a symbol of turning away from all that we know is wrong, and towards Jesus and the life of love and faith he calls us to live.
