A short, flat walk of about 20 minutes and for the more energetic, a longer walk of another 30 minutes.
Tea, coffee, refreshments, cake & biscuits etc will be served at St Mary’s.
Everyone is welcome
The evening is relaxed and informal , consisting of a 30 minute Christian guided meditation in the main hall with tea and coffee served afterwards for a friendly chat in the coffee bar.
Please bring anything that will help with your comfort during the meditation like a pillow, blanket, floor mat etc..

NOTICE OF AMP AND APCM ANNUAL MEETINGS – Sunday 10th May 12.30pm
It’s that time of year again! A few things to let you all know about in advance of the Annual meetings
The AMP (election of churchwardens and open to anyone in the Parish) and APCM (PCC/Deanery Synod elections, and review of all reports) will take place at St. John’s immediately after the service on the 10th May. Our Area Dean Jonathan Evens will be chairing the meeting.
The AMP is where we elect our churchwardens – 2 for St Mary’s and 2 for St John’s. We will also be electing PCC and Deanery Synod members during the APCM.
As part of this we will also be refreshing our Church Electoral Roll (our membership list). If you are not currently on the roll, but would like to be, please contact Nikki for a form. They will also be forms left at both churches as well for everything.
The dates of the Church Electoral Roll (CER) revision is between the 12th April and the 25th April.

What happens ?
There will be sports & games (table tennis, table football, volleyball etc), maybe a Christmas movie, music and quiz plus space for lots of social chat while we enjoy food together.
The food may be chicken pieces, pizza's or hot dogs etc so please do let us know of any food allergies so we can cater for them.
We would love you to join us for our Christmas social. Everyone is friendly and it's a great chance to meet new people, have fun and chat together.

We will be meeting at St John's at 10am on Saturday 13th of December, then taking a gentle walk down to the Langdon Nature Discovery Visitor Centre where we will be singing a selection of traditional and well-loved Carols.
