Youth@StJohn’s – Christmas Social on 7th December

All young people secondary school age and above are welcome to join us at St John's Church, Forest Glade, SS16 6RX

Date  -  Sunday 7th December

Event - Christmas Social

Time  -  From 6.30pm - 8.30pm

What happens ?

There will be sports & games (table tennis, table football, volleyball etc), maybe a Christmas movie, music and quiz plus space for lots of social chat while we enjoy food together.

The food may be chicken pieces, pizza's or hot dogs etc so please do let us know of any food allergies so we can cater for them.

We would love you to join us for our Christmas social. Everyone is friendly and it's a great chance to meet new people, have fun and chat together.

Beautiful Believers – Wine and Wrap Christmas Event – Friday 12th December

Please join us at our Beautiful Believer's Ladies Christmas Event

Date  - Friday 12th December

Time - 7.30pm

Venue - St John's Church, Forest Glade, SS16 6RX 

Festive fun & friendship with mulled wine, mince pies & Christmas cheer.

The Beautiful Believers coming together & wearing our best Christmas Jumpers!

There will be mulled wine and mince pies available but please feel free to bring other snacks and drinks to enjoy while wrapping your presents, chatting & writing cards to the sound of Christmas music. (No food with nuts due to allergies)

This is a free event but donations to our Beautiful Believers hardship fund would be much appreciated.

 

 

 

Community Christmas Carol Walk – Sat 13th December

Please join us for carol singing and refreshments on our Community Christmas Carol Walk.

We will be meeting at St John's at 10am on Saturday 13th of December, then taking a gentle walk down to the Langdon Nature Discovery Visitor Centre where we will be singing a selection of traditional and well-loved Carols.

If you are driving to the Visitor Centre we should be there at around 10.30am.  Centre SAT NAV code is SS16 6EB

On our return to St John’s there will be a chance to warm up with a hot drink and mince pies.
A great event for family & friends, perfect for getting you into the Christmas spirit!
Please dress up warm (Christmas jumpers and hats definitely encouraged)
Looking forward to seeing you either at St John's or down at the Visitor centre.

Hope Explored – 3 week course starts Tuesday 13th January

Hope Explored is an informal and relaxed 3 week course, for anyone wanting to find hope, peace and purpose in life, but particularly for anyone exploring faith and perhaps not sure yet what they believe.
The course will run on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm at St John’s Church, Forest Glade SS16 6RX , starting on Tuesday 13th January.
It's completely free, and light refreshments will be provided. You don’t need to know anything about the Bible, and you won’t be asked to pray or sing. You can ask any question you like, or you can just sit and listen.

St Mary’s Live – Saturday November 16th

As usual the concert is FREE with optional donations for wine, tea, coffee & soft drinks plus nibbles welcome.
