About Us

Colin has been Rector of Langdon Hills Parish for nearly 20 years.  He is married and has two grown up children.  Colin enjoys his ministry here within the Parish but is keen for our church to reach out to the wider community in Basildon

Julian is our Associate Priest. He originally started as our Community & Youth Pastor.  He is married to Natalie and they have four children ranging from 12-21.  Julian has been involved in starting a number of outreach activities for both young and old, and was instrumental in the forming of the new Pastoral Care Team.

Emma is our latest curate and has joined the team in 2016.  She is married and has two growing daughters.  Emma works in and around St John's and is actively involved in a number of outreach activities including the Community Coffee Morning

Anna is an ordinand, completing her placement for ordination training here. She continues to be Children and Families Worker on a part time basis and is responsible for St John’s Kids (Sundays) and 0-3s (Mon. Anna is married and has two young children.
