Rendezvous

The Rendezvous group meets every week on Thursday from 10.00am to 11.30am at St John's Church - see diary. There are variety of short talks or presentations which usually happen every other week at the group.

It was only a short time ago when 20 very chatty and friendly folk gathered for the first meeting of this group and now Rendezvous is 40+ strong! Rendezvous is a great opportunity to spend an enjoyable morning meeting new people over a cuppa and some specially made cakes.

We have had a number of great speakers and demonstrations including a bee keeper, dress maker, cook and a local historian to name but a few. We have the occasional quiz or beetle drive but most of all we enjoy each others company.

There is no charge but donations are welcome. All those aged 50+ are welcome to come along and join us. You are guaranteed a warm welcome and to feel a valued member of the group. For more information please contact Kelly Betts.

Liz Burton and her team are planning to run a few events during the year for those who come to Rendezvous and others who:

fancy a nice tea or coffee
socialise and would like to do some craft
want to experience a short fun service and
enjoy a hearty ploughman's meal with friends

All of this for £1 - a bargain!
